How folding works

01Every chart carries marks in pairs of the same shape. Bring both marks of a pair onto one cell and the pair is sealed.
02Tap a small tab on the top or left edge to fold along that crease. The arrow on the tab shows which half lifts and lands on the other.
03Only the smaller half can fold over the larger one. On an even split the top or left half folds down. The sheet shrinks with every fold.
04A fold that would land two different pairs on one cell is refused: that crease would smudge the chart. Tapping it costs nothing.
05Par is the shortest possible crease sequence, found by search. Three stars at par, two at one fold over, one at two. Folds beyond that still close the chart with no stars.
06Margins are generous by design: practice runs and ghost folds are optional ads, and every chart can be set down and started again for free.
07Charts pay seals, once per star level. Seals buy skins in the seal press. Nothing in there changes how the paper folds.
